How columns are recognized
You don't need a template. nOS recognizes common header names for students, teachers, courses, sections, periods, rooms, capacities, and course requests, including many vendor export variations.
The review screen shows which columns were recognized and which were ignored. If an important column was missed, rename the header to something plain (for example Period or Room) and import again.
Cells with stray control characters are cleaned automatically, so a single bad cell can't break a whole import.
