Open Settings, Data & privacy and search for the student or teacher in your current schedule.

• Export downloads a JSON file with everything nOS holds about that person: their record, enrollments or taught sections, and mentions in imported rows and attachments.
• Erase has two modes. Anonymize (the default) removes the person's identifying details but keeps the roster shape, so statistics stay correct. Delete removes them entirely, which changes counts.

Both are recorded in the audit log. Erase does not reach the original uploaded file or free-text chat messages that mention the person by name; delete the schedule version or re-import a redacted file to remove those.
